Rules
The tournament will be played under the current USGA rules adopted by the FMG(Mexican Golf Federation), the rules of the competition and the local rules of the course. In case of a rule controversy, the decision of the Committee will be unquestionable and will have the power to make any changes that are considered necessary for the convenience of the tournament. The players of this tournament accept these rules.
Score Cards
The players will be responsible to write down their individual gross score. All the calculations concerning handicap and best-ball will be taken care of by the Committee
All score cards should be presented at the committee office no later than 15 minutes after the tournament is finished, with signatures of the pair and at least one signature of any opposing player at the Infogolf office. Also score cards with any corrections or that aren’t the official tournament score card will be disqualified.
The official tournament score card is the only means to determine the results. Any real-time score boards are only for information purposes.
Slow Play
The responsibility of every player is to maintain a normal rhythm of play. If a team is playing slow, a rules marshal will extend them a warning. If any pair or group receives 3 warnings, they will be penalized according to tournament rules.
Tie Breaks
In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will be comparing the net score of both teams, starting with the toughest hole until there is a winner. If there is a stalemate, the pair with the lowest HCP will win.
Etiquette
Any unsportsman-like conduct will be sanctioned according to the rules of golf. Any physical or verbal abuse to another player or any person of the Committee will result in automatic disqualification.
Handicaps
The registered handicaps will be taken into account by the Golf Federal Association (FMG, AGVM or a regional organization) at the time of telephone registration or when you arrive at the club. The players will be registered and any scores that don’t correspond to the handicap declared by the player will be reviewed and adjusted as sanctioned by the rules and all decisions will be final.
Adjustment System
The handicap of any player whose net score exceeds the allowable limit under par set by the organizing committee will be adjusted according to the rules of the Tour and consequently the player’s score will be recalculated with the new handicap.
